The process begins with a visit to Jackson Meadow (be sure to bring hiking shoes).
This is an opportunity to walk the neighborhood paths; request a tour
of the site; and explore the surrounding community to see downtown
Marine On St Croix on the St. Croix River.

Decide what type of home and location in the community you might be
interested in. The Jackson Meadow guidelines specify certain exterior
requirements. You choose all other details of the home.
When a lot is reserved, the next step in the process is to meet with the project architect, David Salmela, to begin to customize your home.
Plans of existing homes and some pre-designed models are also available
for review. (Jackson Meadow encourages energy conservation and
efficient use of space.
The next step is to take your preliminary home design to one of the designated Jackson Meadow builders. This is an opportunity to meet the builders and to price the home you desire.
The final step is closing on the lot and initiating the building process.
This entire process moves at the pace you set. The experience with most
homes at Jackson Meadow is about ten to twelve months from initiation
to moving in.
